Flights operated by these carriers can earn miles in the American AAdvantage frequent-flyer program:
- Air Pacific
- Alaska Airlines
- American
- British Airways — No credit for transatlantic flights to/from the US. Only 25% credit for discount economy.
- Cathay Pacific
- El Al — Only 50% credit for discount economy.
- Etihad Airways
- Finnair — No credit on certain routes.
- GOL — No credit for transatlantic deep-discount economy.
- Gulf Air
- Hawaiian Airlines — Only for flights within Hawaii.
- Horizon
- Iberia — Only 30% credit for discount economy.
- Japan Airlines — Only 50-75% credit for discount economy.
- Jet Airways — No credit for flights solely between Brussels and the US. Only 50% credit for discount economy.
- JetBlue — Only between NYC/JFK or Boston and select destinations.
- LAN — Only 25% credit for most discount economy within South America.
- Malev
- Mexicana
- Qantas — Only 50% credit for discount economy.
- Royal Jordanian — Only 50% credit for deep-discount economy.
- S7 — Only 25% credit for discount economy, and no credit for deep-discount economy.
